Writing – Papatūānuku

In māori mythology

, Papatuanuku is the earth mother and Ranginui is the sky father.

They were a happy couple, and along the years she gave birth to Tāne Mahuta, Rongomatāne, Tāwhirimātea,

Haumia-tiktike, Tangaroa, Tūmatauenga and Rūaumoko.

They are all other māori gods.

They were a ‘happy family’ but the children always longed to live in the light because both parents would stay together no matter what.

After being forcefully separated, they missed each other dearly.

Even to this day they long for each other to be together again.

Dance Party with Coding

Hello!

Welcome back to my blog post!

As you can see we are learning about how to make a dance party with coding.

During the session we made different animals doing the floss together.

They can do more than just one dance move.

Coding is a little bit hard if you don’t follow the instructions.

The challenging part of making this was dragging everything to make the animals move.

I really enjoyed doing this especially listening to the songs we selected and making the animals dance to music.

One of the best things I learnt today was finding and inserting music in my coding.

Have you ever learnt about coding?

Comment if you would love to see my next blog post.
